Hatstand is a global financial IT consultancy with a focus on trading systems, connectivity, data management and the impact of regulatory changes.

We run a 2 year talent development programme in conjunction with some of our major clients. This offers skilled and highly motivated IT professionals the opportunity to take their transferable IT skills into investment banking.

We are currently in the process of expanding the programme in Scotland. We are seeking a database developer with 2-3 years’ experience of developing SQL databases. Working on client site, you will be involved in a high profile project replacing a legacy system. You will be working on the development and design of a new SQL database. You should be familiar with the full development lifecycle and working with PM, BAs, DBA and QA.

You must have experience of the development and deployment of tables, triggers and stored procedures in T-SQL. Experience of data transformation and bulk copy programme would be advantageous. You do not need to have financial services experience as training will be provided.
